This bike actually belongs to my Dad. He ‘s going to be selling it sometime in the near future as he already has a handful of motorcycles. If you’re interested just let me know. He let me borrow it for the next week or so and it’s a pretty fun bike. It’s a little zippier and better in the corners compared o my nighthawk 650. It’s a little bit sportier.
Here’s some of it’s key features
A piston stop is used to keep the engine from rotating by blocking the piston from fully rising thus keeping the crankshaft from fully rotating. The most common thing I use this for is when I’m setting the timing on a moped and I need to remove the machine’s flywheel/magneto.
I’ve watched a bunch of these videos and this one by HowStuffWorks.com seems to be one of the best over all at explaining the operation of a 2-stroke engine.
