More Fiat 500 News

At the launch of the Fiat 500C last week, designer Roberto Giolito confirmed that Italy’s de facto national automobile will make its American debut in early 2011. As expected, the 500 will be built by the company’s new American partner, Chrysler, though it’s not entirely clear where vehicles will be manufactured. Factories in the U.S. and Toluca, Mexico are the most likely choices.

When I first saw the Fiat 500 I thought damn that’s a cool looking car too bad we probably won’t be seeing them here in the US. Well it looks like there’s one thing good that’s coming out of this global economic meltdown. Sounds like they may be here as soon as 18 months down…
