Grande Teardown

I started going through the Grande I acquired recently. Overall its in pretty good shape, but it sat for a while the crank bearings didn’t sound the when i tried turning the engine over and the carb most certainly needed to be cleaned.

Bearings were indeed super crusty
Boring out the intake, 13mm is about as big as you can go and that’s very close to 1/2″. I used a stepper bit to get it started
Finished off the boring with a 1/2″ bit
Opening up the intake patch
Intake finished
Next up I’m going to be hacking up a puch proma to use on it
